Nous vous recommandons de laver vos genouillères à la main avec de l'eau ou un détergent doux (ou un détergent spécialisé en néoprène/combinaison), puis de laisser les manches sécher à l'air debout.
Le cycle d'essorage d'une machine à laver peut endommager la manche, car les genouillères deviennent assez volumineuses lorsqu'elles sont mouillées et peuvent potentiellement être rattrapées ou endommagées par l'essorage. La chaleur élevée d'une machine à laver ou d'un sèche-linge dégradera le caoutchouc des manchons (provoquant potentiellement un rétrécissement ou une fragilité).
Mesurez la circonférence de votre articulation du genou avec votre jambe tendue, en gardant vos muscles détendus. Mesurez autour du centre de votre rotule (au niveau de la rotule) et autour de la partie la plus épaisse de votre mollet. Si votre mollet mesure plus de 1,6 po de plus que votre genou, vous voudrez peut-être augmenter la taille pour assurer un bon ajustement.
Si vous voulez un ajustement serré mieux adapté à l'haltérophilie et au squat, nous vous recommandons de réduire la taille. Une genouillère à ajustement régulier sera bien ajustée.
Si vous débutez dans le port de genouillères, nous vous recommandons de choisir la coupe recommandée au lieu de réduire la taille, surtout si vous tombez sur une taille moyenne ou plus petite.
