SBD Apparel believes in all of its products being manufactured from start to finish in Great Britain, with no outsourcing to other countries for any of the manufacturing process. All materials are ethically sourced from around the World, with the focus being on creating the highest quality products from the highest quality materials available. Strict testing and comprehensive research and development alongside elite strength athletes means the focus of SBD Apparel remains on the development and production of performance products that are made for athletes, designed around athlete feedback and desires, all while maintaining the ethical and local sourcing and manufacturing process.
SBD Apparel’s focus at the start of the company was on Powerlifting, and as the company has grown and seen the need for high quality products across strength sports, has since been developing and expanding its product lines to support all strength athletes including Strongman, Strongwomen, Weightlifting, CrossFit, Bodybuilding and any athlete who spends time training to be stronger for their sport.
SBD Apparel not only makes the highest quality strength performance gear in the world, but supports these sports, being the Title Sponsor of both the International Powerlifting Federation and the World's Strongest Man and is a major partner of the International Weightlifting Federation.
SBD Apparel also sponsors athletes from all strength sports including powerlifting, strongman/woman, weightlifting and crossfit, providing elite strength athletes with the support needed to continue to be a strength athlete.
SBD Apparel Canada Inc. is the Canadian company responsible for sales, distribution, promotion and growth of the SBD brand in Canada. Owned, operated, and based out of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, SBD Canada has been in operation since the earliest days of SBD Apparel, operating in Canada for 11 years. We sell primarily through our website www.sbdapparel.ca, and do our own warehousing and fulfillment. All products are shipped directly to customers from our office and warehouse in Moose Jaw, SK.
SBD Canada’s vision is to be at the forefront of supporting the growth and development of all strength sport athletes and governing bodies in Canada. The support we have shown has been focused not only on being a retailer of the world’s best strength apparel, but also extensive support to the National Governing bodies, including Canada Powerlifting (formerly Canadian Powerlifting Union), Circuit Hommes Forts (professional strongman circuit), Strongest Woman in Canada (professional strongwoman circuit), Strongman Corp. Canada (amateur strongman/strongwoman circuit), and WNBF Canada (World Natural Bodybuilding Federation).
In addition to the support given to the governing bodies, SBD Canada believes in supporting elite Canadian strength athletes through our comprehensive athlete support program. Team SBD Canada is comprised of 60 Contracted Sponsored Athletes (49 Team Canada powerlifters, 11 Professional Strongmen/women) and 17 Non-Contracted Sponsored Athletes (10 Team Canada Weightlifters, 1 Team Canada Shot Put Athlete, 1 Team Canada Cyclist, 4 Elite CrossFit athletes, 1 Hyrox athlete).
