Biography
I am a born and raised Calgary, AB athlete and hybrid competitor across powerlifting, bodybuilding, and strongman. I started powerlifting in 2018 after originally getting into the gym through bodybuilding. At the time, I was just a typical “gym bro” who loved lifting, but once I got introduced to powerlifting and hit a 315kg total at my very first competition with 100% Raw, I realized I might actually be built for this. Seeing athletes like Maria Htee and Stefi Cohen who were in my weight class putting up insane numbers; that definitely lit a fire in me and pushed me to take the sport more seriously.

Since then, I’ve continued to chase growth across multiple disciplines.  My biggest Powerlifting accomplishment is totaling 452.5kg at 56kg bodyweight at CANPL Nationals 2026 in St. John’s.  In bodybuilding, winning Overall Open Women’s Figure at the 2024 CPA Fall Naturals.  And my Strongman biggest accomplishments are taking 1st place in the -63kg class at the Capital City Showdown Strongman competition and carrying a 300lb Husafell for over 55 feet during a Zone Challenge.

I currently train out of Kings Fitness Highfield in Calgary, AB, and I’m coached by the Kelly Mann.

Outside of competing, I’m a nutrition coach and am passionate about helping others improve their performance, body composition, and relationship with food. I also volunteer as a coach for the Special Olympics Powerlifting Team, which is especially meaningful to me as my younger brother has Down syndrome. Being able to give back through sport is something that holds a special place in my heart.

When I’m not training, I enjoy going on walks, cooking, playing pool, watching UFC, exploring local markets, gaming, and because I'm low-key a nerd, getting into sci-fi, anime, and books.

What is your favourite lifting memory?
Winning Gold at 2026 CANPL Nationals in the 57kg Women’s Open class and securing my spot on Team Canada. Years of work led to that moment, and it proved that no matter the detours, powerlifting has always been my roots.

What is one piece of advice you have for up and coming athletes getting into strength training or strength sport?
Focus on the long game. Get your nutrition, recovery, and training dialed in and build as much muscle as possible!! Powerlifting will make you very strong, but the physique comes from consistency in the details. Most importantly, don’t tie your entire identity to your performance because you’re more than your total, and the best athletes are the ones who have a full life outside the gym.

What is your favourite lift or event?
Sumo deadlift.

What is your favourite product and why?
13mm Belt
I love how adjustable the lever is as it makes it super easy to get the perfect fit depending on the lift, and it’s quick to get on and off. It’s something I rely on every heavy squat and deadlift session. The Resolve belt is also BEAUTIFUL!!

What 3 other items are your go to and why?
Powerlifting Knee Sleeves
Knee Sleeves
Flexible Medium Wrist Wraps
Powerlifting Knee Sleeves: These give me the perfect amount of support for my squat, especially in competition. The quality is unmatched, and I love how stable and confident they make me feel throughout the movement.

Knee Sleeves: These are my go-to for accessory work. They offer just enough support without giving me an insane quad pump, which makes them perfect for movements like pendulum squats and hack squats.

Flexible Medium Wrist Wraps: The GOATed wrist wraps. I’ve always preferred the flexible version because I can adjust how tight I want them depending on the lift. They give me the right balance of support and comfort, especially for bench.

What colourway is your favourite and why?
Resolve
Green has always been my favourite colour, so when that SBD drop came out, it immediately stood out to me. It genuinely felt like it was made for me!

Why do you believe SBD is the gear all athletes should use?
It’s clear they’ve taken the time to understand the sport and what athletes actually need to perform at a high level, both in training and on the platform. They offer a wide range of colourways, which I love, but more importantly, they provide different levels of support across their products: whether it’s wrist wraps, knee sleeves, or their 10mm and 13mm belts.

Why do you believe in working with SBD Canada as a Sponsored Athlete?
SBD Canada doesn’t just make incredible products, they genuinely care about their athletes! They create opportunities that support not only performance, but long-term growth in the sport. Being a sponsored athlete for SBD Canada is something you earn, and it reflects the work and dedication you’ve put in. To represent a brand like that means being part of something bigger than just yourself, and that’s what makes it so meaningful.
